YES YES YES to WEN, June 13, 2011

I used Wen for the first time this past weekend, and I am SO pleased with the product. I was fairly hesistant using it, but my hair feels so clean and healthy. Even though it doesn’t lather, you know it’s clean when you’re done… It revitalized my hair in the dryest location, and I am now a fan. I love that it’s the cleaner, conditioner and the leave-in. This product REALLY can be used on all hair types and I’m proof of that now. I’m an African-American woman who is transitioning from relaxers to natural hair. It gave my hair body and made it manageable… I am a Wen believer now!

Better than I hoped, July 17, 2011

It seemed to me that there were a lot of mixed reviews about this product. I gave it a shot anyway. The gluten free thing was appealing to me. At first I thought it was humorous because one obviously doesn’t eat shampoo, but I figured, as someone with celiacs, I might as well give it a shot. Maybe my skin reacts to gluten as well. I wasn’t sure.

Previously, before using WEN, my scalp was dry and irritated, and then a day after washing (I wash every other day) my scalp would be really oily and and flaky. If I washed every day, my scalp would get even drier and flakier. Not attractive. I was also getting a minor rash on my neck shoulders and arms. Turns out the shampoo I was using wasn’t gluten free. Strangely enough, my skin was reacting similarly to how my stomach acts when I ingest wheat. I hadn’t made that connection until I switched over to the WEN product.

Consistant with the wen products!, December 21, 2011

I love wen. Have always been searching for that magical shampoo/conditioner combo that makes me look like a model when i blow it out. I have dyed blonde hair, long and kinda coarse with uneven wave. This particular scent i felt wasnt AS hydrating as like the almond mint, but who knows maybe i just didnt use as much product trying to conserve. The downfall is still the price, it is very expensive and having longer dry hair i go through it pretty quickly. But its obviously worth it, have been using wen for about 7 months now.
