I recently purchased this body cleansing creme, the cleansing conditioner for hair, and the replenishing mist, all in the lavender scent. If you know anything about WEN for hair, you know it isn’t shampoo and it doesn’t lather up. I never expected this body wash to behave like the hair cleanser, but it does. It doesn’t really lather up at all! That was a little disconcerting at first, because it’s hard to believe it will do the job without having lather to move across your skin, but there was no need to worry. Just like WEN for hair, it is FANTASTIC. First of all, I have to mention the aroma, which is a very authentic, aromatic lavender. Once you start working the cleansing creme over your skin, I’m telling you it smells just like you’re walking through a lavender garden. It’s heady, spicy, floral… just lovely. I’ve been a big fan of Wen hair products for a couple years now. I was surprised to learn that my husband was using it as a body creme. I thought I’d buy him this body cleansing creme as it is much less expensive. We find that we both really like how smooth and moisturized it leaves our sensitive skin without causing breakouts. I really like the fragrance of pure essential oils, and the creaminess of this cleansing cream. The skin feels soft and smooth afterwards. For those who don’t feel clean unless there is lather, be aware that this cream doesn’t make suds of any kind. I was able to buy it at a discount price and am not sure I’d pay the full price even though I like the product. |
